PADI Open Water Diver course
Now is the time to dive into the PADI Open Water Diver course, the most popular dive program in the world!
This is your ticket to a lifetime of intense adventure with PADI, the dive company that sets the standards in
the global diving community.
What do I need to start?
Virtually anyone who is in good health, reasonably fit, and comfortable in the water can earn a PADI Open
Water Diver certification. You must be older than the age of 14 to begin the PADI Open Water Diver
program. For those of you who are not above the age of 14 and would like to participate in the PADI Open
Water Diver Program, then the PADI Jr Open Water Diver program is available to you. If you are between
10 and 14 or have a child between these ages, there is a PADI Junior Open Water Diver program available.
To Schedule your course with San Diego Scuba Center simply call or email us with the date you would like to
be done by and times you are available to participate, we will then call you or email you a tentative schedule
and we will make it happen. San Diego Scuba Center specializes in Private and Semi-Private courses, that
means for the price of what you would pay at other locations, where you are 1 of 8 to 12 students in a class,
we have no more than 6 in the water at any one time. A private course is 1-2 students and semi-private are
3-6.

We are a training only Facility, no high pressure equipment sales, located on our own 4 acre Property in San
Diego, with two modern classrooms a custom built pool, complete diving locker, which allows us to create a
schedule that works for anyone at anytime. We provide all equipment required to take the course including
mask, snorkel, fins, boots and gloves! We have been in the same facility for nearly 20 years, and teaching for
twenty five years. So come see why we are referred by past students to their friends and family, from all over
the country. You will learn at your pace and not that of other students in your class! If you need additional
pool time to master the skills then as always these additional sessions are free of charge. Give us a call and be
