PADI Open Water Diver course

What do you need to start?
Virtually anyone who is in good health, reasonably fit, and comfortable in the water can earn a PADI
Open Water Diver certification. You must be older than the age of 14 to begin the PADI Open Water
Diver program. For those of you who are not above the age of 14 and would like to participate in the
PADI Open Water Diver Program, then the PADI Jr Open Water Diver program is available to you. If
you are between 10 and 14 or have a child between these ages, there is a PADI Junior Open Water Diver
program available.
To Schedule your course with San Diego Scuba Center simply call or email us with the date you would
like to be done by and times you are available to participate, we will then call you or email you a
tentative schedule and we will make it happen. San Diego Scuba Center specializes in Private and Semi-
Private courses, that means for the price of what you would pay at other locations, where you are 1 of 8
to 12 students in a class, we have no more than 6 in the water at any one time. A private course is 1-2
students and semi-private are 3-6.

us to run classes anytime and we mean anytime. We have two Ultra modern classrooms, a custom built
dive training pool, complete diving locker(training and rental equipment)and full training program
designed to fit anyone's busy schedule and Pro Shop for all your purchasing needs. We provide all
equipment required to take the course including mask, snorkel, fins, boots and gloves! I have been
teaching in the same facility for 20 years, and teaching PADI courses for over twenty five years. So
